An arrested cow in the Khabarovsk Territory caused a dangerous disease

In the Khabarovsk region, a quarantine was established at the arrest site due to a cow with leukemia, the press service of the station for combating animal diseases in the Khabarovsk region reports.

Recall that on July 6, in the Khabarovsk region, 13 cows were sent to a penalty area without the necessary veterinary documents. The animals were transported by the owner of the animals from the Amur region.

In one of 13 cows, the leukemia virus was detected and laboratory confirmed. Now the animals kept in the village of Druzhba are undergoing repeated tests.

it should be noted that cattle leukemia is not dangerous for humans, and in the absence of signs of the disease in animals and a veterinary and sanitary examination, the MEAT is safe to eat.

Quarantine measures at the arrest site will continue for 30 days, and only after laboratory tests that confirm the HEALTH of the cows, the animals will continue on their way to Sovetskaya Gavan.
