The preliminary results of the activities of the breeding service of the Altai Territory in 2021 were announced at the Center for Agricultural Consulting KGBU, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture reports.
The meeting was held at the end of the year in the format of a videoconference: the DIRECTOR of the regional institution Sergey Knyazev, his deputy Viktor Logvinov and heads of departments addressed the regional specialists. Each department submitted a report. In addition, the meeting outlined tasks for 2022.
The state task assigned to the Center in 2021 included 13 different sections of work and services. During the year, with a plan of 5520 consultations, 6020 consultations were provided to the agrarians of the region, over 75% on livestock issues.
According to preliminary data, the number of banitized animals in the farms of the region will be more than 166,000 conditional heads, while the plan is 135,000. Bonitations continue. For animals, 3184 digital copies of breeding certificates were issued with an annual plan of 1500 documents.
For reference: the breeding stock in the Altai Territory today is 30,344 conditional heads. Of these, 17,548 heads are in dairy cattle breeding, 6,699 in MEAT and 6,697 in other areas, namely in horse breeding, sheep breeding, pig breeding, maral breeding, fur farming, beekeeping and fish farming.
According to preliminary results, in 2021, the plan for the sale of pedigree livestock was exceeded in the region.
A lot of work has been done to equip the breeding enterprise "Barnaul" with bulls from the Altai selection. In 2021, the breeding farms of the region transferred 28 bulls to the breeding enterprise.
JSC “im. Gastello”, which provided 14 bulls of the Simmental breed. The average productivity of animals by maternal ancestors in JSC "im. Gastello" amounted to 11,500 kg of MILK per lactation. Among the other suppliers of bulls, JSC Uchkhoz Prigorodnoye, OOO Zolotaya Osen, JSC PR Chistyunsky, Agricultural Agricultural Farm PZ Stepnoy stand out.
During the year, the Center for Agricultural Consulting took part in organizing a number of major events in the field of the agro-industrial complex. Among other things, experts supervised the exhibition of breeding animals as part of the Siberian Field Day agricultural forum; were preparing a team from the Altai Territory to participate in the All-Russian competition of livestock breeders; assisted in the training of insemination technicians in the regions of the region, etc.
