According to a 2023 GfK study, 93% of Russian families regularly consume sausages. The growing popularity of snacks plays a certain role here. A significant share of them are MEAT products. The main criterion for choosing is the taste of meat. With the increase in demand in March, the average price of sausages on the domestic market increased by 12.4% year-on-year - to 452 rubles per kilogram.

Consumption of meat products in RUSSIA has been observed since the early 2000s. Experts from the National Union of Pig Breeders (NUPB) calculated that in 2015–2023, the average per capita meat consumption in the country increased by 12.5% — to 80.7 kilograms per person per year, a record figure for 30 years. They believe that the trend is based on the improvement of recipes and the expansion of the range of sausages at affordable prices both in retail stores and on marketplaces.
