Over the past three years, the Moscow region's agricultural machinery fleet has increased by nearly 2,500 units.

Over the past three years, Moscow Region farmers have acquired approximately 2,500 units of new agricultural machinery. These include 390 tractors, 54 grain harvesters, 25 forage harvesters, and 2,000 other types of equipment.
"To upgrade the technical infrastructure of our agricultural enterprises in the Moscow Region, we have created our own program: we reimburse a portion of the costs of purchasing machinery and equipment—between 20% and 50%—from the regional budget.
These subsidies are primarily used to upgrade machinery and tractor fleets in dairy farming, crop production, and poultry farming, as well as to improve potato and vegetable storage infrastructure. Additionally, starting in 2024 , we will be implementing a pilot project with Rosagroleasing, providing an advance payment of up to 3.5 million rubles for the initial lease. The funds are transferred directly to the leasing company, speeding up the equipment delivery process. Currently, the program covers wheeled tractors of at least the 5th traction class, and we are working on expanding this list to take into account the actual needs of our farms,” he said.Sergey Dvoynykh, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, said: "
The Moscow Region Ministry of Agriculture clarified that last year, 10.5 million rubles were distributed to three recipients under this program, and this year, 12.6 million rubles. Currently, the Moscow Region's agricultural machinery fleet includes over 3,900 tractors and 680 grain and forage harvesters. The possibility of launching federal programs will expand support and make agricultural machinery, primarily domestically produced, more accessible to farmers.
A total of 36 subsidies are available for agricultural producers and agro-industrial enterprises in the region in 2025. Requirements for recipients under each support program, lists of documents required for application submissions, and other details are available on the interactive portal "MY AIC."
