Projections for 2025 and 2026 project record per capita animal protein consumption in Brazil, confirming the role of domestic production in providing affordable and nutritious food. Chicken  MEAT  has firmly established itself as the primary source of animal protein in the Brazilian diet, and per capita consumption is projected to reach 47.4 kg by 2025, the second-highest level on record.

On the other hand, pork consumption is expected to reach 18 kilograms per capita by 2025, matching the country's historical highs. Pork has proven itself as a nutritionally balanced and competitively priced product on consumers' tables.

In this regard, Ricardo Santin, President of the ABPA, emphasized that daily access to these high-quality proteins is essential for food security, as they are available in all regions and at all income levels, at affordable prices, and with high biological value. According to the ABPA, the meat industry is continually investing in innovation, technology, and efficient resource management to ensure a growing and sustainable supply.
