Tambov region is the third in Russia in terms of poultry meat production growth

According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, according to the results of seven months of 2021, the Tambov region is among the top three leaders in the country in terms of growth in poultry MEAT production.

Over 195,000 tons of poultry meat were produced in agricultural enterprises of the region in January-July, which is 5% more than in the same period last year.

The largest producers of poultry meat in the region are OJSC Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm, JSC Inzhavinskaya Poultry Farm, LLC Tambovskaya Turkey.

According to experts from the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, according to the results of the current year, it is planned to produce over 350 thousand tons of poultry meat in the region. Production growth is expected to exceed 7% by 2020.

“Positive dynamics are planned to be achieved through the implementation of investment projects to increase the production capacity of existing enterprises,” said Lidia Bakumenko, HEAD of the Tambov Region Agriculture Department. - The head of the region, Alexander Nikitin, aims the livestock sector for further development. And the region provides enterprises with all possible support. After all, the expansion of production means new jobs, investments, taxes, as well as the development of territories.”
