From August 26th to 29th, the Vladimir Region will host the 29th All-Russian competition for the best in their profession among machine milking operators. Karelia will be represented by Natalya Svetlova, an employee of one of the republic's enterprises.
At the regional stage of the competition, which took place at the end of June, she took first place with a score of 99.05 points and earned the right to compete in Suzdal. The breeding farm is sending its employees to the All-Russian stage of the competition for the fourth time. The best result was achieved two years ago, when machine milking operator Nadezhda Onoyeva took 16th place among all participants and fourth place in her nomination. The Megrega milkmaid scored 94.36 points out of 100.
Competition participants will be divided into five nominations: women with up to eight years of experience in the profession; women with eight to 17 years of experience in the profession; women with 17 to 25 years of experience in the profession; Women with at least 25 years of professional experience; men of all ages. Judges will assess the participants' skill level by completing the following tests: theoretical knowledge; sanitary training; disassembling and assembling the milking machine, checking its operation; preparation for work, the process, hygiene, and milking culture. Three winners will be selected in each category: first, second, and third place. The participant with the highest score at the end of the competition will be the overall champion.
