Minsk . An accident involving a drunk car-sharing driver occurred in Minsk, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate of
Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee told BelTA. On the night of December 10, a 23-year-old driver of a Geely car-sharing vehicle lost control near building No. 34 on Vankovicha Street. The vehicle skidded uncontrollably, left the roadway, and damaged a parked Volkswagen. The Geely then crashed into a gate, which damaged a BMW. The traffic police officers who arrived at the scene expressed suspicion over
the man's physical condition . The driver was taken for a medical examination, which revealed a blood
ALCOHOL level of 1.5 ppm.
Administrative charges have been filed against the offender.
The State Traffic Inspectorate urges drivers to exercise common sense and strictly observe traffic regulations. "Driving while intoxicated is unacceptable. If you see someone driving
while intoxicated , don't remain indifferent and report
