Russian LUKOIL has agreed to buy a subsidiary in RUSSIA from the British-Dutch Shell, which owns a network of filling stations and a lubricants plant. This is stated in the message on the website of the Russian company.
PJSC LUKOIL announces the signing of an agreement with subsidiaries of Shell plc (hereinafter also referred to as Shell) on the acquisition of a 100% stake in LLC Shell Oil, which is engaged in the retail sale of petroleum products and the production of lubricants in Russia.
Maxim Donde, Vice President for Petroleum Product Sales of PJSC LUKOIL, noted that the acquisition of Shell's subsidiary is "fully in line with LUKOIL's strategy for developing priority distribution channels."
In turn, the DIRECTOR of the downstream Shell segment, Huibert Vigeveno, stressed that as part of the deal, more than 350 Shell Oil employees will maintain their employment relationship with the new owner.
