
Among Russians, 30% are rather negative about the decision of the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow Region on mandatory vaccination of part of the working population. This follows from the VTsIOM survey “Vaccination with mandatory elements: pros and cons” (available from RBC). Another 49% of respondents are positive about this decision, 16% are indifferent. Most often, residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg spoke negatively about mandatory vaccination (30%). Most positive feedback regarding this decision was received among residents of small towns with a population of up to 100 thousand people (54%).
The survey was held on June 20, 1.6 thousand Russians over the age of 18 took part in it, the study was conducted by telephone interview. The statistical error does not exceed 2.5%.
More than half of the respondents (56%) consider the decision on mandatory vaccination to be in line with the epidemiological situation in the capital and the Moscow region. One in four (25%) believes that it is rather inconsistent with the epidemiological situation. Every second Russian (52%) is confident that mandatory vaccination of workers in the service sector will prevent the spread of CORONAVIRUS infection in Moscow and the Moscow region. A third of respondents (34%) believe that this is not so, another 14% could not give a definite answer.

In total, about three-quarters of the respondents (77%) were informed about the decision of the authorities of Moscow and the Moscow Region to carry out mandatory vaccination. For the first time, 22% of the respondents heard about it, more often young people aged 18 to 34 (30–31%).
Earlier, a survey on the attitude of Russians to mandatory vaccination was conducted by the HeadHunter portal. According to him, more than half of the respondents both in Moscow and throughout RUSSIA reacted negatively to the introduced measure, and about 35% supported it. Also, more than half of those surveyed said they would refuse vaccination if the employer forced them to. Approximately 40% of survey participants said that they would agree to be vaccinated. About a third of the respondents said that they had already been vaccinated, 11-12% - that they plan to be vaccinated. About 40% said they did not want to be vaccinated.
