The value of exchange transactions concluded by Krasnodar Krai companies on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) in the first eight months of 2025 reached $2.7 million, which is twice as much as in the same period of 2024, the BUCE press service told BELTA.

Purchases of Belarusian butter accounted for over 45% of the turnover. Krasnodar participants also actively purchased edged lumber and powdered MILK . The share of these product groups in the overall transaction structure was 33% and 19%, respectively. Belarusian companies, in turn, used the BUCE platform to purchase specialized paper products in the Krasnodar Krai. This information was presented during a training webinar on the use of exchange instruments in sales and procurement, organized by BUCE for municipal enterprises of the Krasnodar Krai.

To further increase mutual trade volumes, it is planned to expand the range of goods covered by exchange transactions between Belarusian and Krasnodar business entities. Given the significant share of the agricultural sector in the region's economy, the primary focus will be on agricultural products. Specifically, grain and oilseed crops such as wheat, barley, corn, and sunflower, as well as their processed products —primarily sunflower meal and cake— are of greatest interest to Belarus for imports. Regarding deliveries to the Krasnodar Krai, high demand is projected for powdered milk and cream, amino acids, and semi-finished MEAT products of Belarusian origin. The regional EXPORT support center, with which BUCE has signed a cooperation agreement, intends to assist in attracting Krasnodar sellers and buyers to the exchange. Since the beginning of the year, 10 new participants from the Krasnodar Krai have joined BUCE, and as of September 3, 2025, 91 business entities from this region of RUSSIA were accredited on the exchange. Currently, the Krasnodar Region ranks second after the Rostov Region in terms of transaction value on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) among eight regions of the Southern Federal District of the Russian Federation. The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) was established in 2004. The first trades took place in June 2005. BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. Its main function is to assist Belarusian enterprises in exporting their products and to help foreign companies enter the Belarusian market. The exchange trades a wide range of metal, timber, agricultural , industrial, and consumer goods.
