In 2021, animal husbandry indicators increased in the Tula region. This is reported by the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service.

In particular, as of January 1, 2022, the number of cattle in the region amounted to 153.1 thousand heads, which is 3.9% more than a year earlier. At the same time, there are 127.8 thousand heads of cattle in agricultural organizations, an increase of 5.2%. The number of livestock also increased in peasant (farm) farms - 14.5 thousand, + 1.3%. But households have already lagged behind farmers in terms of the absolute number of livestock - only 10.8 thousand heads, which is 7.1% less than on January 1, 2021. 

In the Tula region, official statistics counted 60.8 thousand cows (+2.2%), in agricultural organizations - 48.7 thousand (+2.4%), in peasant farms - 6.6 thousand (+8.3% ), the population - 5.5 thousand (-5.3%). Pigs in the region: 363.2 thousand heads - total (-1.9%), in agricultural organizations - 355.5 thousand (-1.6%), in the population - 6.7 thousand (-18.8%) , in peasant farms - 1 thousand (+ in 2 rubles) Sheep and goats, according to Tulastat - 75.4 thousand heads (+ 19.1%), in agricultural organizations - 41.1 thousand (+ 58.8 %), among the population - 25.7 thousand (-11.9%), in peasant farms - 8.6 thousand (+4.5%).

The production of MEAT for slaughter in live weight in the Tula region in 2021 amounted to 205 thousand tons (+1.6%). Including agricultural organizations produced 187.7 thousand tons of meat (+2.5%), households - 14.9 thousand (-9.1%), peasant farms - 2.4 thousand (+8.5% ).

Over the past year, the region milked 196.2 thousand tons of MILK (+0.5), including: in agricultural organizations - 142 thousand tons (+1.4%), in peasant farms - 32.5 thousand ( +2.9%), in households - 21.7%. (-8%).

Egg production in 2021 in the Tula region amounted to 719.5 million eggs (+35.3%), of which: in agricultural organizations - 642.5 million (+42.%), in the population - 76.6 million (5, 2%), in peasant farms - 400 thousand units. (+8%).
