During the exercises, a high alert regime was introduced in the region, an operational headquarters was convened, operational groups and commissions were involved in the prevention and elimination of emergencies, and security. About 12 units of specialized equipment were involved in the exercises.
The ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Department , together with law enforcement officers, organized a round-the-clock security and quarantine post at the exit-entry from the epizootic focus.
There was a departure of observers to the site of the KShU, a visit to the checkpoint on the border of the threatened zone, and the development of measures in the epizootic focus. The practical part of the KSHU ended with the alienation of susceptible animals and the destruction of pigs in the threatened zone.
The exercise confirmed the readiness of all regional services to immediately implement a set of measures to prevent the spread, localize and eliminate the source of infection in the event of its occurrence.
