In the Smolensk region, with the participation of state support, a modern slaughterhouse was launched

The enterprise "Altai meadows" is engaged in animal husbandry, poultry farming and crop production. Previously, a slaughterhouse was opened there for the production of poultry meat, now - for livestock. As Alexander Potemkin, general director of Altai Meadows, explained, the enterprise contains about a thousand heads of cattle , but there were difficulties with meat processing.

The CEO of the company said: “We are facing big problems. We have our own livestock, but when it needs to be transported to slaughter, we may not be allowed to go to some slaughterhouse, or we are not satisfied with the quality of this process. You grow, you grow, and you  turn this meat into an unnecessary quality. This slaughterhouse is designed for all kinds of animals - cattle, horses, sheep, deer, pigs. There is also a chamber for fermenting meat and getting perfect steaks. There is a request from restaurants for this, so we have launched the production of this product.”

Alexander Potemkin noted that the slaughterhouse will work not only for the needs of the Altai Gula enterprise. They also plan to provide slaughter services for the population of Smolensk, Altai, Sovetsky, Soloneshensky, Petropavlovsk and other regions of the region.

Potemkin said: “Many villagers raise livestock, but because of the new standards, it has become difficult to turn in meat. Therefore, we will provide services to the population in slaughtering livestock. And we will buy some part of the meat for our own needs.”
