The software has significantly improved the existing accounting system and created a digital twin of the spice assembly area—a crucial stage in the production of meat products and semi-finished products. The project implemented targeted warehousing in production warehouses, automated the receipt of essential auxiliary materials, warehouse order generation, and picking assignments, as well as mechanisms for monitoring expiration dates, raw material batch usage, and other key indicators.
"Our operational control of production has significantly improved thanks to real-time data display. Process quality has significantly improved, and the use of paper media at the plant has decreased. Overall, the system will facilitate the efficient optimization of material and financial resources," noted Svetlana Ryzhova, Director of the Klinsky Meat Processing Plant.
Automation will further expand to include production, heat treatment, and cooling. In the final stage, packaging, labeling, and product transfer to the warehouse will be integrated into the MES system. This successful experience will be scaled up across all of the agricultural holding's facilities.
"The implementation of the MES system will ultimately improve the company's efficiency and profitability. Accelerated data processing will enable more efficient and accurate management decisions. This implementation is another step toward achieving our strategic goal of transitioning to digital management methods for the entire agricultural holding," noted Vladimir Ignatov, Director of Information Systems and Technology Development at PRODO Group.
Klinsky Meat Processing Plant is PRODO Group's flagship plant in the Moscow region and one of the leaders in the Central Federal District in the production of sausages and meat delicacies. The plant annually produces over 150 different products with a total volume of 35,000 tons. It employs over 1,400 people.
