
“Since the beginning of the year, the region’s food and processing industry enterprises have increased their meat production by twelve percent, sausages by five percent, fish by nineteen percent, butter by eight percent, yoghurts by 6.5 times, cheeses and cottage cheese by nine percent, bread by 30%, and confectionery by six percent,” said Nikolai Denisov.
In January 2024 , the industry's enterprises produced 7.9 thousand tons of meat; 3.5 thousand tons of sausages; processed and canned fish - 0.56 thousand tons; 0.5 thousand tons of butter; 2.4 thousand tons of cheeses and cottage cheese; 1.1 thousand tons of yoghurts; 0.4 thousand tons of bread with micronutrients; 3.9 thousand tons of confectionery.
"For enterprises of the food and processing industry of the region, state support is provided - subsidized loans for the purchase of raw materials and acquisition of equipment. Milk processing organizations are compensated for part of the costs of processing raw milk and 70% of the costs - for the purchase of marking equipment," the minister added.
During the specified period, food industry enterprises produced products and drinks for a total of 15.1 billion rubles.
