Rosselkhoznadzor Administration continues to detect facts of unauthorized movement of farm animals in the Rostov region

For this purpose, “road maps” have been approved in the subjects of the Russian Federation controlled by the Department, within the framework of which the Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR and law enforcement agencies conduct joint trips to municipalities.

In March 2023, on the territory of the Rostov Region, officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration carried out joint activities with employees of the Traffic Police Administration in Yegorlyksky, Zimovinikovsky and Tsimlyansky districts (unfavorable in veterinary and sanitary terms), during which facts of unauthorized (in the absence of duly executed veterinary accompanying documents) movement of 21 heads of farm animals (pigs, cattle) and one horse.

Owners have been issued requirements to quarantine animals and to take mandatory anti-epizootic (preventive) measures.

In total, since the beginning of the year, within the framework of established cooperation, officials of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration have carried out 14 raids, 7 cases of movement of farm animals without registration of veterinary accompanying documents have been identified. The department issued requirements to eliminate violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of veterinary medicine and quarantine farm animals.

Upon receipt of materials from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RUSSIA for the Rostov Region, inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration issue warnings to violators about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.

The impact on preventing the spread of especially dangerous animal diseases, including those common to humans in the territory controlled by the department, is under special control of the management of the Rosselkhoznadzor. Joint activities will continue.
