Smolensk poultry farm increases production volumes

According to the results of the first six months of 2021, the production of chicken eggs at the Smetanino poultry farm increased by 19% compared to the same period last year.

It should be noted that today the Smetanino poultry farm is one of the largest chicken egg producers in the Central Federal District (it produces about 700,000 eggs per day). Currently, the number of employees of the enterprise exceeds 130 people. The products of the poultry farm are sold in 20 regions of Russia and are represented in the largest grocery chains - Magnit, Metro, Mikey, Lenta, Auchan, etc.

It is worth recalling that in 2018, with the support of the administration of the Smolensk region, The enterprise completed the implementation of an investment project for the construction of three poultry houses and a warehouse for storing packaging, which made it possible to expand the production capacity of the factory, improve product quality and its consumer characteristics.

In addition, at the beginning of this year, the company launched the production of washed, disinfected eggs. The volume of investments in this project amounted to 5 million rubles, 10 employees of the factory were trained to work on a new line with a washing machine. According to the representatives of the factory, at present there is no similar equipment in other industries in the Smolensk region.

Thanks to the implementation of such projects aimed at improving production, in the first half of 2021, the factory produced 130 million chicken eggs, which is 21 million (19%) more than last year.
