Growth of meat consumption in Russia: records in 2025

According to the latest data, the country's self-sufficiency in MEAT and meat products exceeds 100%, making RUSSIA independent of imports in this area. In 2024 , the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter increased by 2.1%, reaching 16.9 million tons, and the volume of sausage production amounted to 2.5 million tons, which also indicates the growth of this sector.

At the same time, experts have noted a decline in interest in plant-based meat analogues, which is noticeable in the sales of such products.
