On Sakhalin, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor laboratory investigated and then arrested a batch of feed from the Amur Region. It contained toxic substances contrary to GOST, due to which the Sakhalin poultry farm could be left without a population of birds.

Laboratory studies of a batch of Amur feed showed an excess of toxic substances in a number of studies and positive data on the indicator "general toxicity of the express method on protozoa".

Employees of the Sakhalin branch of the Primorsky interregional veterinary laboratory of Rosselkhoznadzor believe that poisonous plants, seeds, agrochemicals and their incorrect dosage made the food toxic.

Exceeding the levels of harmful and dangerous substances for birds could cause serious illness or death of the entire flock. Data on Amur products were included in the special veterinary program "Vesta", the Central Office and territorial departments of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the veterinary departments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

The manufacturer was also notified of the negative test results.
