The price of lamb in Russia has set a new price record

In August 2021, lamb (excluding boneless meat) in Russia cost an average of 489.09 rubles / kg - 0.9% more than a month earlier, and 14.6% more than in August 2020. Since the beginning of the year, the price of this product has increased by 13.1%. This is a new price record for this product since at least January 2019.

For the period from January 2019, the minimum price for mutton was fixed in January 2019 - 363.45 rubles / kg, the maximum - in August 2021: 489.09 rubles / kg.

The most expensive lamb in August 2021 was sold in the Northwestern Federal District (584.18 rubles/kg), the cheapest - in the North Caucasus (432.93 rubles/kg).
