Highly pathogenic avian influenza continues to be reported in farm, zoo and wild birds in Belgium (2), UK (7), Germany (33), India (3), Spain (4), Ireland (1), Italy (7), CANADA (4), Lithuania (2), Macedonia (1), Nepal (4), Netherlands (1), Poland (1), usa (14), Taiwan (4), Philippines (8), France (76 ), Switzerland (1), Sweden (3), Estonia (1) and Japan (17). In most cases, highly pathogenic avian influenza virus type H5N1 was identified, and an outbreak of the disease in poultry caused by the H5N2 type virus was registered in Poland.
In Israel (10 outbreaks) FMD type O. Rabies continues to be reported among stray animals in Melilla (1). Aujeszky's disease is recorded among wild boars on farms at hunting grounds in France (1).
CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 was detected in Switzerland (3) in companion animals.
