China's purchase of Russian oil to replenish its reserves will not violate US sanctions against Moscow. This was stated by Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Jake Sullivan, reports REUTERS.
“We have imposed a ban on the supply of Russian oil to the United States, but we have not introduced restrictions on the sale of Russian oil to other countries, so when other countries buy Russian oil , this does not contradict the sanctions that we have introduced,” Sullivan explained.
