Kharitonov estimated the probability of Fury winning the WBC title fight

The chances of Tyson Fury winning the championship fight with Dillian Whyte are 60 to 40. Russian fighter Sergey Kharitonov told RBC Sport about this.

“Both fighters are good. White is a puncher, can hit hard, should not be underestimated. Fury is the clear favorite. This is boxing - any punch can solve everything. I think it's 60/40 for Fury, but White might surprise. Fury has chosen a worthy opponent in the person of White, a bright fight is planned, ”Kharitonov said.

WBC world heavyweight champion Fury will face White at Wembley Stadium in London on April 23. Fury had previously stated that this fight would be the last of his career.

Fury is 33 years old, during his professional career he had 32 fights, in which he won 31 victories, one more fight ended in a draw.

White in March 2021 defeated Russian Alexander Povetkin by TKO in a rematch and regained the interim WBC title. The 33-year-old White has 28 wins and two losses.
