PCR tests have fallen in price in the Tyumen region

But in areas remote from Tyumen, the cost, as a rule, higher The high cost of tests outside of Tyumen is explained by the lack of laboratories

Prices for PCR testing in the Tyumen region are declining. This is reported by the Tyumen movement of the All-Russian People's Front organization. Its participants monitored prices in January and February of this year.

So, in private clinics in Tyumen, prices for testing for COVID-19  will have to be set within 1,500 thousand rubles. A month ago, the cost of PCR testing was about 1,700 rubles. At the same time, there are medical institutions in which prices remained at the same level, but were relatively lower - about 1,300 thousand rubles, the Tyumen Region Today writes.

A similar trend was formed in Tobolsk, where this service was on average more expensive than in Tyumen. In January, the cost of this procedure was about 1,900 rubles, but in February this figure dropped to 1,700 rubles. The highest prices remained in Zavodoukovsk, where you will have to pay about 1,900 rubles for testing for COVID-19.

The All-Russian People's Front explained that one of the reasons for the high prices for PCR testing in areas remote from Tyumen is the lack of private clinics of their own laboratories, which is why tests for research have to be transported.

Earlier, RBC Tyumen reported that private clinics make money on the desire of Tyumen residents to identify omicron. Thus, the cost of research for the detection of the omicron strain was on average 200 rubles higher than for the usual one. However, in some medical institutions, prices could be twice as high.
