The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation reported that there will be no shortage of railway tickets to the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District

There will be no shortage of train tickets to the south during the May holidays and during the high season. This is reported by TASS with reference to the HEAD of the Ministry of Transport Vitaly Savelyev.

“The number of free seats in the south direction is quite large - these are trains to Adler, Anapa, Novorossiysk, Kislovodsk, Nalchik, Derbent, Vladikavkaz and others,” the minister said.

He added that with an increase in demand for rail travel in the summer season, wagons will be added to trains that operate year-round. They are assigned to this area.

In addition, according to him, the Russian Railways holding is doing everything possible so that the tariffs for railway tickets do not increase.

The head of Kislovodsk, Yevgeny Moiseev, said that about a million people visited the city by rail last year. “I am sure that this number will be much higher this year,” Moiseev said.
