The Russian Orthodox Church clarified that the exact date of the Bishops' Council will be discussed at the summer meeting of the Holy Synod.

The Council of Bishops is one of the highest governing bodies of the Russian Orthodox Church. Bishops of the Moscow Patriarchate from RUSSIA, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Estonia and far-abroad countries where there are dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church take part in it.
