On the Don proposed to adjust measures to support IT-specialists

In the Rostov region, it was proposed to adjust the forms of support for IT specialists, including preferential mortgages. The Don deputies sent the relevant amendments to the State Duma, said Svetlana Manankina, Vice Speaker of the Regional Legislative Assembly.

In particular, it is proposed to change the conditions for issuing preferential mortgages for specialists in the field of information technology. According to the draft law, it is planned to issue it at 5% per annum to specialists from 22 to 40 years old with a salary of 200 thousand rubles if they live in a million-plus city.

“We talked to representatives of our IT sector and, of course, almost no one has such a salary. Accordingly, we propose to lower this bar - at least to 100 thousand rubles, when we are talking about million-plus cities, and to 70 thousand rubles. for other territories,” said Manankina.

The second amendment proposes to increase the amount of funding for retraining of personnel in the field of IT. Now the state is ready to compensate 50% of the cost of retraining, the second half is paid by the person himself or with the help of the employer. There are twice as many applications for this form of support than the budget actually satisfies, the vice-speaker of the Don parliament emphasized.

“The situation in the economy requires non-standard, instantaneous, general and at the same time targeted solutions - for different industries, for different categories of enterprises. Heads of companies, representatives of municipalities, deputies and ministers take part in this work. All people who understand the problems of today are important,” said Alexander Ishchenko, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region.
