398 more Nizhny Novgorod residents infected with coronavirus

In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 398 cases of CORONAVIRUS infection were confirmed per day. This is reported by the operational headquarters of the Russian Federation.

The total number of residents of the region who were diagnosed with covid-19 during the pandemic exceeded 159.21 thousand people.

According to the latest data, more than 146.88 thousand residents of the region have recovered, more than 6 thousand patients have become victims of the coronavirus, including 20 people who have died over the past day.

As of September 8, more than 959.4 thousand people were vaccinated against coronavirus (955.14 thousand a day earlier), of which 877.99 thousand people received the second component. Currently, the Nizhny Novgorod Region has received 1,295,934 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Over the past day, more than 18.02 thousand cases have been detected in RUSSIA, and a total of 7.065 million cases of coronavirus have been confirmed. To date, more than 6.32 million people have recovered, 189.58 thousand patients have died.
