In St. Petersburg, the epidemic situation has become seriously complicated due to the spread of covid-19 , so the city is moving into a “mobilization mode”. This was announced on the air of Radio RUSSIA by the governor of the city Alexander Beglov.

“The fifth wave of CORONAVIRUS was the largest. St. Petersburg is moving into a mobilization regime. This will require patience, understanding, readiness to work in difficult conditions and special efforts from each of us to preserve the HEALTH of ourselves and our loved ones,” he said.

According to the governor, the city authorities will maintain planned care in hospitals to the last, but are preparing to introduce more stringent sanitary restrictions.
