Aleksey Bogdanov,
HEAD of the main department for foreign economic activity of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, took part in the meeting via video conference. He noted the fruitfulness of the preliminary negotiations of the parties on the formation of a single dairy and food market of the allied states and stressed the closeness of the Russian-Belarusian positions in matters of quality control and volumes of supplied products.
As follows from the message of the Ministry of Agriculture, Anatoly Kutsenko announced the need to jointly develop a methodology for regulating balances and prices for dairy products, changing technical regulations and improving product quality, which would limit access to the market for cheese-like products.
“Together with the growth of the well-being of the population, the demand for product quality is growing.
RUSSIA has reached the level of consumption when the issue of quality begins to outpace the issue of price. We need to restore consumer confidence in the dairy market, only in this way can we restore the demand of the producer of milk-intensive products for raw
MILK ,” said Anatoly Kutsenko.
In turn, Aleksey Bogdanov acknowledged that the Belarusian side shares this concern about the quality of products exported from the Republic of Belarus.
“We recognize the presence of certain problems and are ready to ensure control over the quality and volume of supplies,” said Alexei Bogdanov.
As a result of negotiations, agreements were reached on the volumes of most commodity items. The issue of the rest will be the subject of subsequent consultations, as well as the issue of creating a single trading company that will carry out all deliveries from the Republic of Belarus and control the quality and price of products.
