September 24, Minsk . For the first half of the year, the growth rate of gross agricultural output was 116.5%. From the sale of products, goods, works and services, they received Br12.515 million in revenue (130.6% of the 2022 level), net profit - Br1.14 million. The director of the KSUP "Imeni Dzerzhinskogo" Anatoly Sheiko shared this information about his native enterprise with the magazine "Ekonomika Belarusi".
This is the largest agricultural enterprise in the Slonim district of the Grodno region, the area of agricultural land exceeds 11 thousand hectares. Priority areas of activity are the production of grain, oilseed rape, beets, potatoes, as well as meat and dairy farming.Traditionally, the Dzerzhinsk residents' bread loaf turned out to be hefty this year, with 12,589 tons of grain sent to the bins, and the yield was 41.6 c/ha. Cattle weight gains are growing: from January to July, the average figure was 671 g, and in July - 705 g. And what is very important for the financial well-being of the agricultural enterprise, milk indicators are going up, the sales of which mainly form the revenue: 7,245.3 tons were milked in the first 6 months of last year, and 8,365.1 tons in the same period of 2023.
In 2021, the agricultural enterprise significantly expanded its borders by annexing the Mizhevichi State Agricultural Enterprise, which was undergoing rehabilitation. Plans had to be adjusted. The first step was to reconstruct the premises of the dairy complex (there are seven of them) and the milking parlor. The animal boxes, manure removal system, and feeding tables were repaired. They also closely addressed the personnel issue, which resulted in a complete rotation. The professionalism of the veterinary service of the Dzerzhinsky State Agricultural Enterprise (low-yielding animals were gradually culled, and the herd was completely replaced in two years) and close cooperation with the Slonim Station for breeding and artificial insemination of farm animals played an important role in the fact that "rivers of milk" began to flow at the Mizhevichi State Agricultural Enterprise.
There are 2025 animals at the complex, including 176 calves, which live in individual boxes made of plastic or wood, and the wooden houses for them were built by specialists from a local construction team. Three workers look after the babies. Judging by the good daily weight gain (900-920 g), they treat the babies with great care. The average weight gain of cattle is 700-800 g.
