Traditionally, on the eve of the New Year, the best Belarusian enterprises were given well-deserved awards. And once again, the Republican award “Consumer Market Leader” was received by “Babushkina Krynka” - a long-time leader in the dairy industry of Belarus.
Among the main achievements of this year we can safely name the expansion of the already rich range of products manufactured by the holding. The key to the successful development of one of the leaders of the country’s agro-industrial complex is a team of thousands, whose coordinated work ultimately results in a list of not only financial achievements.
Nice traditionThe holding company "Mogilev Dairy Company "Babushkina Krynka" is one of the largest producers of dairy products in Belarus. Since the company has seven production sites in the Mogilev region, the range is very wide and already includes more than 400 types of products, the high quality of which is appreciated not only in Belarus, but also beyond its borders.
The basis for success for companies producing dairy products is the quality of raw materials, therefore, all branches of Babushkina Krynka are constantly working to improve the quality of purchased MILK.
But this alone is not enough for success - strict adherence to technological regimes and control over the sanitary condition of workshops and areas is required, to which the enterprise pays no less attention.
The third important component of success is constant monitoring of the market and tracking consumer trends and, as a result, changes in the assortment list of manufactured products.

This year, one of the leaders in the dairy industry of Belarus became the winner in several categories. The holding was awarded the Grand Prix “For the consistent high quality and impeccable taste of products”; the company’s collection of awards also included victories in the categories “Brand Pride”, “Loyalty to Traditions”, “New of the Year”, “Consumer Choice”.
The diploma “Management Leader” for an impeccable business reputation, high professionalism and effective personnel management was awarded to the first deputy general DIRECTOR of Babushkina Krynka OJSC Artem Genrikhovich Zubel.
Unexpected explosion“We thank our customers for their high trust in the Babushkina Krynka brand and try to constantly delight them with new types of products. This year we have a lot of new products - 59 items. And, probably, the most striking thing was the entry into the market of our sugar-free ice cream" , - said Deputy General Director for Production Ekaterina Polyakova.
According to her, this product was a hit this summer, which exploded the market.
“We really wanted to convey to customers that we have released a product that absolutely everyone can eat. Both those who love sweets and those who cannot or do not want to eat them. So that everyone can see that there is no SUGAR in our ice cream, we they wrote it in large letters. And they were right,” shared Ekaterina Polyakova.
The Deputy General Director for Production noted that there were a lot of people who paid attention to the delicious new product from Babushkina Krynka. Unexpectedly a lot. After all, as the top manager frankly said, the company did not expect this product to explode in sales.
Inspired by the huge summer success of sugar-free ice cream, Mogilev dairymen decided to adjust their approach for the winter and released it in a different package.
“In the summer there were three types of cups, “vanilla”, “strawberry” and “peach”, and for the winter we released this dessert in 450 gram buckets - so that you could enjoy delicious ice cream from “Babushkina Krynka” while watching the series,” - said Ekaterina Polyakova.
Breakthrough to schools, kindergartens and gyms“Babushkina Krynka” did not limit itself to huge success in the ice cream market, having released more than fifty new products, including so that they would reach the tables of schoolchildren and kindergarteners.
“We have more than 400 types of products, to which new yoghurts were added that year. Indeed, in the previous school year, the Ministry of Education conducted an experiment, finding out the nutritional preferences of students. As a result, the approach to the school menu was radically changed: “admitted” to the school diet and kindergarten canteens now have not only milk , but also yoghurts,” said the Deputy General Director for Production.
Striving to win tender purchases, Babushkina Krynka offered a wide range of yoghurts: not only in different flavors, but also in containers of different sizes. This is a 150-gram glass, a 200-gram jug, and a 300-gram bottle.
Along with the production of other products, all this allowed the enterprise to satisfy the requests of the regional education department for a wide range of dairy products.
In addition, Mogilev dairymen began to produce an innovative product “Greek sour cream”, with an increased protein content (twice) - 10%. Another step in the direction of a healthy lifestyle is the release of new high-protein “Greek” yoghurts with “walnut-honey” flavors. cereal", "blueberry" and "vanilla".
“The high protein content makes athletes very happy. I can confidently say this because I go to the gym, and if previously the men and women who worked out in it were supported by various products from other enterprises, today the innovative products of Babushkina Krynka, namely ours, are in favor yoghurts,” Vadim Kravchenko, HEAD of the sales department on the domestic market, shared his personal experience.
Took the candy in an unexpected moveA skillful combination of modern technologies and traditions of producing products from natural milk has allowed the company to maintain a leading position in the dairy industry of the Republic of Belarus for many years . But this does not mean that the company is resting on its laurels and does not follow consumer market trends.
Therefore, another hit of the season from Babushkina Krynka was milk candies made from powdered milk. They were made in the form of “ascorbic acid”, which dissolves.
The line has several flavors, including milk, banana, raspberry and the original, non-traditional mushroom. How did Mogilev dairymen decide to take such an unexpected step and produce such non-trivial candies?
“We conducted a tasting at one of the national competitions, and it turned out (including from the reaction on social networks) that many Belarusians really liked the mushroom-flavored candies, and not just the employees of Babushkina Krynka. Therefore, we decided to launch candies with an experimental taste into production,” explained Ekaterina Polyakova.
Plans to capture the cheese market. And not onlyDozens of Belarusian agro-industrial enterprises are working with an eye on the foreign market. Traditionally, the main EXPORT destination is Russian, where domestic enterprises occupy strong positions in many types of products (especially milk powder and cheeses).
And one of the main suppliers of quality cheeses for the Russian consumer is Babushkina Krynka.
“Understanding the importance of this area, our company pays special attention to cheeses. This year we have expanded the range of hard and semi-hard cheeses, which was already very impressive. I will not talk about our plans in detail, but I will note that I have a large board hanging in my office , which describes point by point what new products we will produce, in what packaging, what flavors. This is a lot of painstaking work that is in full swing and never stops thanks to our highly qualified specialists. And despite everything, the system built in our holding, works, the enterprise is developing and producing in-demand products with increasing profits,” summed up Deputy General Director for Production Ekaterina Polyakova.
