8 billion for the agricultural sector: Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading a bill on the state budget

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading bill No. 6000 on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022. The bill was supported by 264 people's deputies.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the draft State Budget for 2022. It provides UAH 8 billion for the development of the agro-industrial complex + UAH 301 million in the 2021 plan.

In particular, UAH 4.6 billion is provided to support farmers. These are the costs for:

reimbursement of the cost of agricultural equipment cheaper loans and insurance payments development of animal husbandry, crop production, horticulture, viticulture and hop growing subsidy for irrigation for 1200 agricultural producers

UAH 715 million is also provided for land reform. In particular, it is proposed to send:

The document notes that, in addition, the restoration of the reclamation complex provides for the possibility of sending state guarantees and 70% of the proceeds from the purchase of agricultural land plots by farmers.
