Farmers in the Tomsk region received over 80 million rubles for development

In 2025, with the assistance of the Department for Social and Economic Development of Rural Areas and the Tomsk Region Agrarian Center, small and medium-sized businesses received 83.8 million rubles in state support to develop their agricultural businesses.
According to Svetlana Duisembayeva, Head of the Department of Organizational, Legal Support, and Economic Analysis at the Tomsk Region Agrarian Center, state support was provided both through the Agrostartup grant and by subsidizing a portion of the costs of existing farmers who decided to upgrade their facilities and expand their production.
Four aspiring farmers from the Bakcharsky, Zyryansky, Kolpashevsky, and Kozhevnikovsky districts received the Agrostartup grant last year. They will create eight jobs and begin implementing business projects in beekeeping, meat, and dairy farming beginning in 2026.
Sixteen family farms from the Shegarsky, Zyryansky, Bakcharsky, Tomsky, Chainsky, and Kolpashevsky districts took advantage of a subsidy to partially reimburse family farm expenses in 2025. They received 63.4 million rubles in state reimbursements for the purchase of machinery, cattle and poultry , livestock farm equipment, poultry houses, greenhouses, and fieldwork.
Specifically, Alexander Tkachev, head of a peasant farm in the Tomsky district, used state support to purchase a tractor and a baler. The farm breeds fat-tailed Edilbaev sheep and, thanks to the new equipment, will be able to increase forage production for its growing herd. Farmer Sergei Ardashev from the Chainsky District received partial reimbursement for the purchase of a grain harvester with attachments, while Anatoly Sotov from the Tomsky District received a tractor, a baler, and a hydraulic harrow hitch. Cooperatives from the Tomsky, Shegarsky, and Kozhevnikovsky Districts also received a subsidy
of 2.5 million rubles to partially reimburse their costs. Last year, the Siny Sad cooperative purchased a refrigerated chamber, attachments for interbush cultivation, and a berry winnower; Tommyas purchased a milk separator; and Priobsky purchased animal scales .
