The Ministry of Agriculture clarifies that the total number of vaccinations carried out includes preventive measures against contagious and especially dangerous diseases, such as bradzot, brucellosis, smallpox, anthrax and foot and mouth disease. Specialists of the veterinary service made the largest number of vaccinations against anthrax - 714 thousand.
533,000 heads of small ruminants were vaccinated against smallpox. 22 thousand sheep and goats were vaccinated against bradzot.
In addition, almost 500 thousand animals have been vaccinated against foot-and-mouth disease and 154 thousand against brucellosis. It is noted that vaccination of animals in the region is carried out all year round.
