Agricultural producers in Transbaikalia are annually increasing their use of modern technologies related to data collection, storage, and processing systems.
Applications for subsidies are also being successfully submitted electronically, reported Albina Koreshkova, HEAD of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
"Every year, Transbaikalia's farms are increasingly using digital technologies to monitor agricultural crops, enter animal information into automated systems, and submit documents for government support. At the same time, both the volume of data and the need for high-quality processing and analysis are increasing. As a result, the number of users of government information programs that optimize many production processes is growing annually," explained the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
Since 2024 , the Transbaikalia Ministry of Agriculture has been accepting applications for all federal subsidies through the Portal for Providing Financial State Support Measures. "For example, this year
, 142 owners of private farms submitted documents electronically to participate in the 'Agrostartup' competitive selection process." " Furthermore, thanks to digitalization, over 300 agricultural producers are receiving subsidies in the livestock and crop production sectors in a timely manner. The online service significantly simplifies the paperwork for our farmers—they can provide all the necessary data without interrupting their work or traveling to the ministry," explained Albina Koreshkova.
Furthermore, farmers and agricultural organizations in Transbaikalia are successfully mastering digital programs such as "Grain" and "Seed Production," which are designed to maximize harvests and improve profitability.
The "Unified Federal State Information System for Agricultural Lands" is also in high demand in municipal districts, helping farmers optimize land use and bring unused arable land back into cultivation.
