MINSK . The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has revealed that certain types of products that do not meet legal requirements are being sold through the Ozon Internet platform. This was reported to BELTA by the press service of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade.
Among other things, fruit marshmallows, which are recognized by the State Standard as dangerous products,
MEAT products requiring special storage conditions, etc. were sold there. The owners of the online platform (OOO OZON Market Bel and OOO Internet Resheniya) were notified of the need to take measures to prevent the sale of such goods.
Earlier, the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade issued a demand to OOO OZON Market Bel to prohibit the sale of cosmetic products. Also, the owners of the Ozon online platform were notified twice by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the need to strictly comply with the requirements of the legislation on trade and consumer protection in connection with the dissemination of false information about the product and the offer for sale of alcoholic and low-alcohol beverages, beer.
In the first half of 2025, control measures were carried out in relation to 124 online stores. Violations of legal requirements were found in 112, or 90.3%. Business entities were sent recommendations on how to eliminate the identified violations (deficiencies).
