Tatarstan is projected to produce 1.6 billion eggs in 2025.

In January 2025, Tatarstan produced 128.3 million eggs, an 18% increase compared to the same period in 2024 , with an increase of 19.7 million eggs. Agricultural enterprises produced 121.2 million eggs, an increase of 19.9 million eggs, 20% higher than in 2024.

The new Yaratel Apastovo poultry farm is being built in the Apastovsky District. It will accommodate 2.7 million birds, including 2 million laying hens, with a total annual egg production of 655 million. Investment in the construction of this farm will total 11 billion rubles.
