In the Kirov region, an agricultural enterprise was held liable for violations of the requirements of veterinary legislation

During the inspection, violations were found:

- the territory of complexes for keeping cattle is not fenced;

- the entrance to the territory is not equipped with a disinfection barrier with a disinfectant solution that does not freeze at temperatures below 0C;

- at the entrance to the production area, there is no sanitary inspection room with round-the-clock duty;

- the territory is not divided into isolated zones from each other: production, administrative and economic, storage and preparation of feed, storage and processing of manure;

- storage of manure on specially equipped sites is not provided, conditions for its disinfection are not created;

- in the dairy unit, the floor surface has elements of broken tiles, part of the wall and ceiling surfaces are whitewashed, which makes it difficult to wash and, if necessary, disinfect;

- for the maintenance and treatment of weak, sick animals, isolated rooms (insulators) are not provided and separate machines with partitions are not equipped;

- the rules for storing biological waste are not observed;

- it is allowed to sell MEAT, forcedly killed animals to the population.

These facts indicate a violation of the requirements of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Veterinary Medicine", the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union "On Food Safety", the Veterinary Rules for Keeping Cattle for the Purposes of Reproducing, Growing and Selling, the Veterinary Rules for the Appointment and Conduct of Veterinary and Sanitary Examination of Meat and products of slaughter (trading) of animals intended for processing and (or) sale, the Veterinary Rules for the movement, storage, processing and disposal of biological waste.

The management initiated an administrative offense case against the enterprise under Part 1 of Art. 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and under Part 1 of Art. 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, according to part 3 of Art. 10.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The legal entity was issued an order to eliminate the identified violations.

On May 23, 2023, the Department of Agriculture of Tokhtinskoye CJSC was found guilty of committing offenses with a fine.
