This is not the first time that drug residues have been found in the poultry products of the Tula company, which is certified for the supply of its products to Turkmenistan and the countries of the EAEU .
Thus, in 2022, due to the detection by the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR of traces of Enrofloxacin and Trimethoprim in 14 samples of dried egg white, temporary restrictions were imposed on the supply of these products to foreign markets.
A decision was made to invalidate the declaration of conformity, batches of low-quality products were withdrawn from circulation. The information was brought to the attention of the competent authorities of the Tula region.
At the end of last year, the territorial department of Rosselkhoznadzor, in agreement with the Prosecutor's Office, conducted an unscheduled inspection of production with sampling and subsequent laboratory tests at the Federal Center for Animal HEALTH (FGBU "ARRIAH"). The results confirmed that the company sells drug-contaminated egg products.
Other types of violations were also recorded in the work of Leto Group LLC. The service found that the enterprise had issued declarations of conformity for dry and liquid egg products based on the conclusion of phantom laboratories that were not at the registered addresses.
The company was brought to administrative responsibility in accordance with Part 2 of Art. 14.43 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. A fine was issued, the indicated declarations were annulled, and the general DIRECTOR was given a recommendation to eliminate the causes and conditions that led to the violations.
As Rosselkhoznadzor previously reported , in 2023 the company was again in the field of view of the supervisory authority due to the detection of Tilmicosin, Trimethoprim and Enrofloxacin in dry egg melange.
Upon discovery, enhanced laboratory control has been introduced for this product. A decision was made to dispose of a batch of goods contaminated with drugs.
At present, the enterprise has made a decision to refuse the supply of dry egg melange to the EAEU countries.
