The regions that lead in egg production in Russia have been announced

In second place is the Yaroslavl Region. The region produced 525.5 million eggs in January-March this year. However, this is significantly lower than the year before. Last year, in January-March, the region produced 13.6% more eggs. Despite such a significant reduction, the region managed to maintain its leading position in the rating with a large gap from the following players.

Rostov Region is in third place in the ranking , producing 425.3 million eggs in the first three months. Production volumes increased by 8.3% year-on-year.

The fourth and fifth places in the rating are occupied by the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions. These regions produced 415.3 million and 408.8 million eggs, respectively. Production volumes increased by 3-4%.

The volume of egg production in Khabarovsk Krai has increased significantly. Over the year, the region increased production by 84% — up to 81.2 million pieces. The volume of egg production in Arkhangelsk Oblast has increased by 1.5 times — up to 17.9 million pieces. The volume of egg production in Zabaikalsky Krai has increased by a third. According to the results of the first three months, the region produced 6.2 million eggs.
