In July, the region's industrial sector produced 19,900 tons of live weight MEAT, exceeding the previous year's figure of 17,800 tons. Specifically, cattle production increased by 16%, while poultry production grew by 11.3%. However, the dairy industry experienced a decline, producing 11,100 tons of dairy products, down 9% from the previous year.
Since the beginning of 2025, Don livestock breeders have increased their production volumes by 4.5%, managing to send 154.9 thousand tons of products to market, the main share of which was poultry – 116.8 thousand tons.
