Growth of agricultural production in the Penza region in the first five months of 2025

The increase is observed in all categories of farms compared to the same period in 2024. In particular, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter amounted to 204.5 thousand tons, which corresponds to an increase of 2.1%. The volume of milk yield reached 196.1 thousand tons, which shows an increase of 14.8%. Also, 150.1 million eggs were produced, which is 18.8% higher compared to last year.
