Rosselkhoznadzor conducted exercises to eliminate a simulated outbreak of anthrax among animals in Transbaikalia.

During the exercise, specialists from the State Veterinary Service of the Zabaikalsky Krai, in collaboration with other government agencies and institutions, practiced containment and elimination procedures for a simulated anthrax outbreak among animals. The exercise consisted of three stages: the first involved testing the equipment used; the second involved practicing emergency response procedures; and the final stage involved practicing practical skills, including detecting simulated anthrax-infected animals and destroying them using specialized equipment.

Andrei Pavlov noted the importance of such exercises for preventing the spread of dangerous diseases to both animals and humans, and praised the high level of preparation and cooperation among all participating agencies.
