Poultry houses in the Tsivilsky district of Chuvashia have finally resumed their work after 7 years of inactivity. This became possible thanks to a new investor - VDS LLC, which restored the activities of the Chuvash broiler in the area. The investor bought a site in the village of Aktai and decided to continue poultry farming activities here.
The first poultry house has already been occupied, and about 40 thousand chickens are already on site. According to the company's plans, they will populate three more poultry houses every 10 days. This will significantly increase poultry production in Chuvashia.
The organization VDS LLC has made some improvements to the poultry houses. Chickens are now kept on a floor system rather than in cages. In addition, the feeding and watering system has been modernized. Employees of the organization note that chicken raised in floor housing is considered more tasty.
The poultry houses were in good condition, but some additional work was still required. Hatcheries with 9 chambers were built, capable of producing 1.6 million eggs per year. The entire process is controlled automatically using a special control program. The eggs are rotated within 18.5 days in accordance with the specified parameters of the sensors, the temperature and angle of inclination are regulated. The chicks then hatch after 21 days in other compartments.
The company also plans to build poultry houses for breeding stock, treatment facilities and a slaughterhouse for 1.5 thousand birds per hour. The site has the potential to produce more than 2 thousand tons of MEAT per year. However, the spring-summer season is just beginning, and the Civil Broiler company intends to actively develop and increase its production capacity.
