AgroPromkomplektatsiya develops a seed-growing base near Ryazan

On agricultural land in the vicinity of the village of Poplevino in the Ryazhsky district of the Ryazan region, the production of seeds of wheat, barley and soybeans has been opened. The area of ​​fields of the group of companies "AgroPromkomplektatsiya", occupied by these fodder crops, is expanding year by year. Accordingly, more and more seeds are required, which are profitable to obtain on their own.

The seed base in the Ryazan region has everything you need for sowing, harvesting , sorting material and treating seeds with protective equipment. Now two sorting machines and a bunker-treater are working uninterruptedly on it. A 540 m² warehouse will be built this year.

The cycle of seed preparation for the sowing campaign takes from two to three months. Agronomists of APK-Ryazan LLC carry out variety renewal with testing of the selected material. Last year, this division of the AgroPromkomplektatsiya group of companies fully provided itself with seeds of winter wheat, barley and soybeans.

This year, the preparation of barley for spring sowing was completed at the end of March. Work continues with other crops - in the order of sowing. The yield directly depends on the quality of the material, including such characteristics as germination, purity, weight of a thousand seeds, etc. In addition, it must meet the growing conditions in the soil-climatic zone.

If the vagaries of the April weather do not change plans, the sowing campaign will begin in the near future, and now complex soil preparation has begun on the fields of APK-Ryazan LLC.
