Using the Mercury system, violations were identified in the declaration of conformity of meat and dairy products in the Kaliningrad region

Thus, in October 2023, when checking compliance with legal requirements when registering eVSD for MEAT products - beef cutlets (manufactured by Miratorg Zapad LLC), a discrepancy between the products was discovered in terms of Listeria monocytogenes. The identification of these indicators in products indicates a violation of microbiological safety standards defined in Appendix No. 1 to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union “On the Safety of Food Products” (TR CU 021/2011), valid in the territory of the EAEU .

Based on the results of the identified violation, the validity of the declaration of conformity for the products in which the non-compliance was identified was suspended.

Also, in October 2023, department employees, when analyzing production activities in the FSIS "Mercury" LLC "Gusev Agro Product", found that the declaration of conformity for "Peasant butter 82.5%" was issued in 2022 on the basis of test reports conducted by the testing department laboratory of Atmosphere LLC, which is not accredited in the national accreditation system. In addition, according to available information, the location of the laboratory is not confirmed by the actual address of the activity.

Based on the violations identified, on October 24, 2023, the Department made a decision to invalidate the declaration of conformity for Krestyanskoe 82.5% butter produced by Gusev Agro Product LLC.

In addition, the manufacturer of dairy products “Peasant butter 82.5% 180 gr.” the eVSD indicates Gusev Agro Product LLC, and the FSIS VetIS component Cerberus indicates that Gusev Agro Product LLC is an enterprise with the type of activity “sale of controlled products.” However, according to information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the main activity of the LLC is “Production of seasonings and spices” with additional activities “wholesale and retail trade of various food products and drinks.”

Due to suspicion of illegal business activities, information about identified violations against Gusev Agro Product LLC was sent for verification to regional law enforcement and tax authorities.

The department continues to work to identify counterfeit and unsafe products, as well as to prevent the circulation of products that do not comply with established legal standards in the region.
