November 21, Grodno. The Investigative Committee is investigating the circumstances of the death of two people in a fire in the Grodno region. This was reported by the department's official TELEGRAM channel.

The incident reportedly occurred tonight in a residential building in the village of Ratychi. Eyewitnesses called rescuers to the scene. While extinguishing the fire, the bodies of two men were found in the building. it turned out to be the 46-year-old owner of the house and his 57-year-old friend, who had been drinking the night before.ALCOHOL .

The department clarified that an investigative task force is currently working at the scene of the incident.

Several possible causes that could have led to the fire are being considered, including careless handling of fire while smoking.

All circumstances of the incident will be established by the Grodno Interdistrict Department of the Investigative Committee during the investigation.
