November 5, Ivanovo. In Ivanovo today solemnly opened a multifunctional sports complex "Impulse". The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yury Shuleiko and Minister of Sports and Tourism Sergei Kovalchuk, BelTA has learned.
The facility was built at the expense of the regional budget, its cost is almost Br12 million. The sports complex was built next to the M10 Kobrin-Gomel highway, next to the new Vostochny microdistrict. The two-story building houses a sports hall for outdoor games, a pre-swimming preparatory room, a swimming pool for adults and another one for children. In rooms where visitors will come into contact with water, floor heating is provided. There is also a bath complex with a Finnish sauna and a hammam, a mini-pool for dipping and a relaxation room. On the ground floor there is a place for trade, where visitors can buy hot sandwiches, salads, soft drinks and hot drinks.
A barrier-free environment has been created on the territory and in the building. Pedestrian paths are made with certain slopes, tactile tiles are laid on pedestrian crossings. All signs in the building are duplicated in Braille. There are special locker rooms for people with disabilities, a lift for the pool, an elevator.
A parking lot for 88 cars has been arranged next to the sports complex, and cyclists will also be able to park.
